Some Getting Adjusted Photos

This is Aaron's first sled riding pictures. He liked it but preferred to walk around with it. Andrew wasn't convinced and at first didn't like the idea of boots. Now he loves them and wants to wear them all the time. Andrew helping with laundry sort of...
He and Aaron both love this music book and Andrew sings Deep and Wide, Jesus Loves Me and Head and Shoulders.

Sometimes we are happier than others.

Visiting Seoul South Korea

Andrew was born in 2004 and in the Chinese calender that is the year of the monkey. This is statues at one of the palaces of the last Korean dynasty. This is one of the palaces. One of the coolest thing, about this is the heating system. They put fires under the buildings and it heats the floor and the smoke goes outside the building. I thought very cool.

We visited a Buddhist temple. It was fascinating but a little awkward.

At the local super mall there was an aquarium and we took Andrew Sukhoon. He seemed to like it but wasn't thrilled when we went through the tunnel with water above.

This is a picture from our hotel window in Seoul. Talk about busy.

First Meeting

Here are some pictures from our first meeting with Andrew Sukhoon. We got to meet him at his foster families house. He was a little shy at first but made up to Perry. The foster family had done a great job with him and he seemed to really enjoy being there. We are thankful once again for those that love these children and let them go. Fostering is a gift and we are blessed because of it.

I hope to post further pictures over the next couple of days so you can see a little of our journey.

Home

Well folks we are home. We are in one piece. We are tired. And considering we dragged a four year old half around the world, we did pretty good. We only had an occassionally breakdown and not for long period. The introduction to brothers went well. We will give a more through report when we are less tired. Thanks for all the prayers.

A few thoughts before we go

THis is Aaron's first playdoh experience. It is cute to a mom of course. He hasn't eaten yet thank goodness. He did of course think about it.

Life is good for crazy

Well, Monday night the telephone call came. Yes a month early. After Aaron when things kept getting pushed back I never dreamed. They said best case scenario February. So I am running around like a chicken with its head off but come Tuesday we will be meeting our son for the first time. Pray for us.
