This post is for a little boy I met at Eastern Association. We were downstairs in the church and he was playing with my boys. And his hands were pink probably for markers or koolaid but it made me think of planting corn and I tired to explain this to him. He was trying to figure out how corn can turn your hands pink if he tried to explain it to his parents they will be convinced that this woman has lost it. Anyway this is post to show how corn can turn your hands pink. Here is Perry making rows for the corn to go in. After the rows are in I put the corn in the rows and it is hard to tell in the picture but the kernels are pink coated. I am sure why but the package says do not eat or give to animals due to a funicide. So it is either fungicide or coloring to tell you it has been treated. Not sure which.
I look forward to eating and freezing the results. Well Jonathan that is how your hand gets pink from corn.

The Trip to VA
We had a good trip down to see the boys new cousin Sophie. Along with time spent visiting the new baby the boys along with Aunt Cindi did some sight seeing. We introduced the the boys to the beach and enjoyed the Virginia Children's Museum. We also did some swimming in the pool at the hotel and Andrew and Aaron were fascinated by the idea of a tunnel going under the water. So are a couple of pictures from the Museum.
Weekend at Camp JOY
Well life has had many adventures in the last week and half. I went back to work for the first time. I got a call from my boss asking if I could come in on an emergency basis. So off to work I went. After working I as able to take Andrew to Camp JOY for the very first time. We went to a young adult retreat. It was relaxing and enjoyable and Andrew has been asking to go back ever since. He had his first canoe ride and loved jumping in puddles with Lily. So after a lovely time Andrew and I drove home and I got ready to take the boys and Aunt Cindi to see the new baby Sophie.
